Calpe is a typical Spanish town with a beautiful old town and two beautiful, long, fine and clean sandy beaches and two beautiful beach promenades which are interrupted only by the 'ifach' (Hausberg + landmark). In the green, hilly environment lie the different residential areas (urbanizations) with the holiday houses. The town offers year-round all the usual shopping, sports and entertainment possibilities and is an ideal starting point for many excursions and hikes. Within a few minutes you can reach the neighboring towns of Altea and Moraira, or Benidorm and Denia along the picturesque coastal road.
