Sorry we didn’t write as soon as we came back, but holidays are already over, and it is a pity for we had such a really great time at El Grillo!
We were really enchanted by the place: it was nice and welcoming, so colourful with all the flowers (the bougainvillea, hibiscus and so on). We also truly appreciated the sea view from the swimming pool and the apartment’s room and living room, we were lucky we had a nearly full moon at our arrival, so we could admire it several days on, it was dreamlike.

The rooms were really comfortable and we slept very well in the big beds (my husband is tall and he appreciated to have a bed his size, which is not often!), and even if we lived outdoors most of the time, the rooms were agreeable. It is perfect to have three bathrooms when you are two couples with children, so you can get ready quicker!

The terraces are really nice, we had breakfast and dinner by the pool and lunch on the shady one near the entrance door.

The children and the adults could swim in the nice swimming pool every day, morning or evening for the water was so nice.

The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, we had brought a lot and let a lot too for the cupboards were already furnished.

What we also liked was the useful carpark in which we could easily park our two cars.

I can’t think of anything unpleasant when remembering our time at El Grillo!

And to finish with, we had a perfect weather, a bit windy so not too hot, and the situation of the place is ideal: we could go on foot to the little rocky beach down the street, it was great to go snorkelling with children: we saw a lot of different fishes. The sandy beaches were not far either by car – we loved El Portet, but others are also great.

We had also fantastic times with our friends eating out and taking advantage of the tasty cuisine of the area –fish, seafood, tapas and wines are good, Moraira is a nice place to be on holidays, it is quiet and its night market was cute; we liked going to the nearby place of Javéa (Xabia) for it has a nice central market.



Thank you again for your kindness and professionalism, we are ready to come back anytime there, and we’ll trust “my holiday favourite” for that!

Hi Gislinde, sorry for the delay.



We had a wonderful week in Spain. The weather was great, the house was more than great, and Mrs B., who met us at El Grillo was a very nice women. And thank you for your patience with me, when getting this place to stay.



I believe we had good luck with the weather. Is was supposed to be “winter” in week 8, but everyday we had more than 25 degrees in the sun, from a clear blue sky. An that’s a whole lot better than the fourteen below we left in Norway. The pool top at 15 degrees. A little fresh, but then I took a swim :-)



This was my family’s first vacation in Spain, with a car and house. I am very glad I brought my GPS, because, I would never in a million years found the Grillo at night without it. Maybe I even wouldn’t have found Moraira. Maybe to bring a GPS is a tip you can add to the ” Way description”.



I think I speak for the whole family, when I say that, you will hear from us again. Great website. Great houses. Great service. No need to go elsewhere.
